Received a letter about a recall for a product that I did purchase and that was very terrible. Contacted about getting the refund and they require proof of disposal (cool) proof of purchase (yep) and my bank account number and routing number and my name. This seems very strange to me .

I ordered a bookcase made by this company through overstock.com. It arrived damaged and all forms of communication with the seller were unsuccessful. The phone number and email provided were disconnected. The website has not chat function with a customer care rep even though it says it does and there is no way to contact them to receive a refund or initiate a return. This company is a scam and should not be allowed to do business in the united states.

Initially I was contacted by email with an offer to make supplemental income by editing business correspondence for the company. I did this for several days and was told I would be paid $180.00. Before doing any additional editing I was informed by email that the editing position was no longer available but there was a position for receiving payment on my ebay account for the products they sell on an their auction site. This was necessary due to Polish laws that restricted their ability to take payments directly from overseas. They promised a 5% commission and after two verified transactions a one year contract of $1500.00/month plus the 5% commission on every transaction. This sounded good and needed the extra income. Payments posted to my ebay account were to be transferred to my bank, withdrawn and then sent as cash via UPS to their US agent for conversion to a cryptocurrency which would be sent to Poland. I foolishly sent them a phot of my ebay account page as they requested. After a six week wait, a $4000 payment showed up in my ebay account. I followed their instructions precisely and sent the funds to their agent. Several days after delivery confirmation by UPS, the company contacted me by email to inform me that the money was never received and they were demanding the money be returned to them. I emailed them receipts of bank withdrawals and UPS receipts but they say I have stolen the money. I have not sent them any repayment yet and I promised them that I would report this to local authorities and to scam alert sites which I am doing now. Please advise if their is anything else I can do.

Site offers an online auction for various items. I won a auction for a queen sized bed. 6 days later I received a notification that bed was not available and company would not be restocking that particular bed, however web site still shows same exact bed offered for sale.
