I was contacted by a Vikings Holding LLC from a 313-960-4574 number on 12/10/15 and was left a voice message by a Mr. Martin saying that myself or my attorney needed to call them or I would be served papers. They claimed to be a mediator for GTI Holdings. When calling them back they gave me personal information including the name of a bank I used 4 years ago where the account had been closed, however they said I had taken out a pay day loan / advance of sorts online and then closed my account. I never took out anything of that nature. They stated it was $800 but now with interest I owed over $3,000 and that I needed to settle out of court or I would be served with a felony for check fraud. They said I needed to pay $1,600 or papers would be served. I called my old bank and they saw nothing that resembled the information the person on the phone gave me. GTI Holdings is not BBB Accredited and is now closed.
