I received a letter in the US mail claiming that this firm, Viola Roland LLP, had a client who had died with my same surname who had an unclaimed permanent life insurance policy for over $11 million. The letters stated that no one had come forward to claim the money, and that the firms efforts to locate his relatives were unsuccessful. The letter then asked for my consent to be in partnership with this attorney to claim the insurance policy benefit, in view of the fact that I shared the same last name and nationality as the deceased. They went on to say that if I would permit them to add my name to the policy, all proceeds would be processed on my behalf. They would keep 10% of the money to be shared among charity organizations, while 90% would be shared with me. This scam letter claimed that this prospect was 100% risk free. This matches with at least one other report that I am seeing on the ScamPulse.com website.
