My wife and I were interested in a puppy teacup chihuahua. I did research and found one on Vip Chihuahuas.com. I contacted the business owner and he asked for the $500 payment via Money Gram. This was on Saturday, 2/9. I was expected to hear 24 hours after the transaction, but heard nothing. After repeated phone calls and emails, we finally heard from Pet Carriers Intl. located at the airport in Arkansas, but not until Wednesday morning, 2/13. The day our puppy was supposed to arrive in California. They claimed to have the puppy in their possession, but needed $750 via Western Union as insurance so the puppy could fly safely. After careful consideration and speaking with my wife, I processed with the transaction, and they’d send our puppy asap. On the morning of Thursday, 2/14, I received an email stating that our puppy could not fly due to a certain carrier needed which came with a price tag of $810-$950. At this point, I knew I was being scammed. More phone calls and emails were made, but all went answered, voicemail, or disconnected. Next, I reported to Money Gram and Western Union about the transactions as fraud.As well as their Facebook page and now ScamPulse.com. Please take caution and do not trust these websites. All scammers. They are predators that feed on people’s emotions.
