According to a representative at their company, the purchase of the initial pair of socks signed me up for a membership in the amount of $37.57 each month so that we could get a 50% discount on anything we might buy from the company. There was no email or regular mail communication stating this membership. There was no communication of this membership or discount at the time of signing up. The representative sent me a PNG file showing a screenshot of the alleged offer at the time of sign up, however it looked nothing like the page that I made a purchase from in May. I am careful to look for things like this because scams are everywhere.
The only way I found the seller's physical address and webpage were from the cancellation email I received after I called. No refund will be issued as "a membership was provided for the funds received." The phone number was provided to me by my financial institution when I called to dispute the charge and cancel my card. The phone number and website available on my bank statement are both inaccurate. The phone number is invalid and the website does not exist. Had I not called my financial institution and research once I DID receive an email from the company, I never would have received any information about who they really are or where they are located.
