Caller used same # in contacts for Virginia Dominion Power, therefore didn't want to list this # above. I listened to message and then hung up. They said my power was being turned off. I checked my billing, which was current and then called Virginia Dominion Power. I was told to complete go to ScamPulse.com on Dominion Engery site and submit information. Since I didn't find link on their site went directly to ScamPulse.com scam tracker to report.

Scammer called my business as Virginia Dominion Power under the name Ethan Rogers, and said that power would be shut off in one hour if a payment was not made. They said to call the collections office at 855-519-1145. I called this number and asked for more information but was hung up on. I called back and told them threatening my livelihood will not be taken lightly and asked for a manager.

I was transferred to ext 1904 to the "manager on the floor" named Kevin Valley. I told Kevin that I would investigate the issue as the landlord is responsible for direct electric payments.

I received a call at my business establishment from a man who claimed to be someone who works at Virginia Dominion Power. He told me that I had an overdue balance and that the power to my business would be cut within the hour. He gave me the phone number that I have listed above telling me to contact "customer service" and they will handle the method of payment.
