Based on their Facebook ad which was for a 1957 Chevy Convertible listed for $40000 and although I felt it was very underpriced I perused purchasing the vehicle. When I contact them I was dealing with a person named Jack. After getting information about the car I said I wanted some additional pictures and to see it in person to inspect it and would travel to see it. We discussed price and he was easily willing to ship it to me and including shipping sell it for $37000. I asked about payment and he wanted to do a wire transfer but I said I would bring a bank check with me and if the car was as advertised i would give him the check and also bring plates to drive it home. He wasn't thrilled about that but agreed. I said I needed a picture of the vin plate and a copy of the title. That's when all contact stopped. I tried numerous time to contact him again and was not able. I called a few businesses in the are to try and get more information and found out that they went out of business over 4 years ago and we no longer at this location. According to their website a Kevin Martin is their Customer Service person, a Sarah Albert is their marketing person and a Ariel Lasso is their CEO Founder yet non of these people can be reached.

Saw a classic car advertised on Facebook Marketplace, sent a message and started the buying process. A few red flags popped up and I investigated deeper contacting the Montana DMV, Secretary of State, and attorney general. Together we determined it was a scam just before I sent the money.

Just exactly like complaints on AutoHaus Trader on 10/14/21, 11/2/21, & 12/14/21. Wired the money, was a health issue so delivery would be delayed 24 hours, then accident so they would wire refund. Never showed up!

"Company" with very well done web site acted as a consignment broker for vehicles. Victim is sent to them by the "seller" who was contacted via Boattrader.com. Takes money an states item is being shipped. On day of arrival, states transport truck has been in an accident but item is fine. Will be a delay. States the next day that insurance has determined the item is damaged and that they are refunding the money. Target account has been cleaned out and closed.

Found ad on Craig's List for a tractor that was "too good to be true". Responded and got scammed by a very sophisticated operation with fake websites, addresses and phone numbers.

These guys used facebook to try and fake a 1957 Bel Air sale for $22,000. They take the money and don't realease it to the seller until I get the car. This scammer had a truck for sale and wanted to use the "payward logistics service" as an escrow. The website domain was 9 days old and there are multiple people who received the same email word for word just with different vehicles for sale. Please do not use this service!!

They post car or boat on any for sale sites EBay, BoatTrader. I came across them as someone contacting me about boat for sale at very reasonable price. He tells you to go to this site that they hired to sell their item and register with them, pay for the item and will be shipped to you and you have a 7 day return option. You can read it all on their website. They claim being in business since 2009 yet the domain was created 2 months

ago.
