Employers NEVER text you for a job interview. This one did. Phone number 850-359-3153. I thought this was a bit fishy so I looked into the company. They had a big red banner on the top of their page saying they are not hiring and they have no current job listings posted. It said to contact them before giving out any information. I tried to, but was sent to a very unprofessional voice mail box. I asked if they were a scam via text, and I never herd back from them again. BE SAFE OUT THERE FELLOW JOB SEEKERS!

got a text about a job, i don't remember applying to but i did apply for at home jobs recently. So i told them i was who they were looking for but something seemed off. They texted instead of called. Legit jobs call not text. Then he proceeded to tell me to download telegram messenger, which another red flag in my book was strange. He then proceeded to tell me to do an application but i didnt even know what company he was speaking of. I told him i couldn't do the position he needed with a "sorry" and he told me i'm at the right place. Then i asked him what company is this. In bold letters he told me "VIRTUAL WORK FORCE INC, i felt that was rude and unprofessional. SO that gave me another red flag. I told him i would look into the company and then about 30 mins later, he text me and said "by now you have contacted the human resources "red flag'. Why are you rushing me? I have not replied back cause it just seems odd for a job to contact like that and i would be removing my resume offline since it attract scammers.

The fake employer asks the potential employee for Steam gift cards worth 400 USD. There is no background checking of the potential employee and no typing tests or assessments made of any sort.

I have also been contacted by this company today 11/30/2021. They asked if we can do a zoom meeting to speak about an interview. I accepted the interview request and they hired me as an Administrative Executive at $50 an hour. They send an offer letter in addition to other documents. They requested my banking info for a direct deposit which I did not give. What I thought was strange is that they did an interview without being on camera and there is no background check as to who I really am. I came on here and now know this is a scam to get information for fraud.

Upon responding yes I was prompted to use WhatsApp, Skype, zoom, telegram or wire to conduct my interview. After that I googled the firm and found their website saying they only have 1 employee and saw that it was a scam

I have been contacted by this company and same process, received cellphone text message and had initial interview up to be accepted and start training the next morning. Job: Work at home Data entry clerk position being paid $50./hour after training.
But I check them here first and found the same company being a scam.

This "company" contacted me by cellphone text message and set up an initial interview for Monday 7/27 on Google Hangouts. I have not had any official discussions with this person yet since I have already been contacted by a similar scammer. This "Company" spoke of a work at home Customer Service/Data Entry position paying $35.00 per hour - strikingly similar to the first position offered which I have previously reported to you. Both advised they had found my info on Careerbuilder.com. They only have my name, address, phone number and email address - all publicly available info that would be available on my posted resume.
