I replied to a what seem to be legit job posting. After sending my resume and following other steps to try and secure those job, I was asked to set up a ID.me account to verify my identity. At that point a link was sent to me by this " company's" contracted HR Department called HR Works. The link was paired with ID.me so it made it seem legit because I've never seen anything like it and it's a trusted site. At any rate, they someone managed to get my information and was able to sign into my IRS account and file a tax return under my information.

I have the IP address from these people after pulling my data and closing my account to try and prevent any further damage, and all the email interactions still.
