Type of a scam Online Purchase
My REAL problem was when I called to cancel just the $35 order. Customer Service representative was quick to inform me that "all purchases are final" and I could just wait to receive the product, then return it and only be charged a $9.99 restocking fee. Once I was adamant that I didn't want that product at all, CS Rep offers me a 35% discount on it. Now things are sounding like a totally scam, so I request that she cancel all three orders. CS Rep offers me a 50% discount (as if she is doing me a favor). I tell here it sounds like a scam, that I want to speak to a supervisor. I'm then told that her supervisor will just tell me the same thing. Once I started asking for names she was quick to cut me off and say that she talked to her supervisor (there was no hold time) and she was now authorized the cancel all 3 orders and refund my money. As I pushed for more accountability regarding confirmation of cancellation and refund emails and requested possible employee numbers for her and her direct supervisor and their office location, the CS Rep briskly tells me that she has done what I asked and to have a good day and then quickly HUNG UP ON ME while I was in mid sentence.
