on 11/3/2022 my laptop had a verbal message come across the screen saying my computer had been locked to call 1-855-738-3324 immediately to have computer unlocked. I spoke with John at ext #1040, he told me that my network & IP address had been compromised. They could fix it that I needed a new generation firewall it would cost $899.00. Told him I could not pay that kind of money, then he said he applied a senior discount now it was going to cost $799.00. Told him I could not pay that amount either. During this time of trying to come up with a price to fix my computer, John was showing me sensitive informtion on my computer such as my passwords, ss #, bank information, etc. So I offered to pay $500.00 to fix my computer and he checked with his manager and got the $500.00 approved. That was paid electronic check. They did nothing to fix my computer. On 11/17/2022 I called requesting a refund, John said I should have my refund within 6 to 12 business days, which would have been 12/5/2022. I called back on 12/7/2022 spoke with Dan Thomas about refund, he checked with billing and said my refund was processed on 11/17/2022 & that I should receive it by the end of the that week, which would have been 12/9/2022. never received refund. Called back on 12/14/2022 spoke with Gary Johnson, he said billing said should have refund within 4 business days, which would be 12/20/2022, still no refund. On, 1/5/2023 I called back spoke with Dan Thomas, he said again I should have refund within 3 days, which would be 1/10/2023, still no refund.
