I wasn’t sure what to list this as, but I received a call from “vital-check” asking if I had received my sons birth certificate (I actually had a week ago) and she asked if there were two copies. There is two copies, and I can’t remember if I ordered two or not. She told me this was a printing mistake on their end and she was sending me a prepaid envelope to return it so they could properly dispose of it. I said ok and the call ended. It made me awfully suspicious though so when I reverse looked up the # on google it was listed as a Health and Welfare #. I called Health and Welfare’s main line and they informed me I’m being scammed and they don’t deal with birth certificates in this sense.
