Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
"This is what you are required to do, proceed to your bank and make a cash withdrawal of $3,100.00 then locate any Wells Fargo Bank branch nearby and make a cash deposit of $3,100.00 into the vendor's account for the purchase of your working materials and email me a clear copy of the cash deposit receipt as proof of payment. Once the vendor confirms the payment, your software will be installed on a new HP Hybrid Laptop and shipped to you for tomorrow morning delivery by 10:30am via FedEx to enable you commence your training and orientation by 1pm okay."
I thought it was weird, but followed instructions.
The bank account given to me was:

Wells Fargo Bank
Later on googled the situation because it was insanely off compared to past interviews I've experienced and discovered it was a scam.
