I believe this breeder is a scam. My 85 yr. parents tried to buy a puppy from them. They said they would ship it to my parents. so my parents sent them $700.00 by Money Gram. The dog would be shipped by a pet shipping company called VIP Pet Express, which is also a scam company. The pet shipping company called my father and said he needed to pay another 740.00 to insure the pet. and another 100.00 for an air conditioned cage. And to send it with Western Union or Money Gram. They tugged on my father's heart strings by saying the dog was held up in Kentucky in a shipping warehouse and they needed the money before they would ship the dog. So my dad contacted the supposed breeder Viva Maltese and asked about this. They were very unhelpful. Said that his son was in a car accident so he was in the hospital and could not look into it but would try when he had time. My Dad then called me to ask what I thought, and after doing some research, I found another complaint about this same thing and a legit pet express companies warning of such same scams! They need to be stopped and need to have the public warned so that no one else falls for this scam!
