Type of a scam Online Purchase
Before hand i only saw good comments on their post and didnt find any reviews. Which i admit i should have seen as suspicious but as a young adult between the ages of 18-21 and never have been explained how to tell of something is a scam, i went ahead and continued on.
After i submitted my card and made a purchase i never received a confirmation number for the order to be placed nor did i receive an email with the order number like the website said. Immediately i went to check my bank account and look at my credit card pending transactions to find i was charged by shoptallyho. who is a known scammer and that is the first thing that shows when you search that name. Upon seeing this i froze my card immediately and emailed the company asking for my order to be cancelled and a refund to be applied if the money was taken from my account. I also mention that since i did not recieved an order number that they could find my order through the email i was using to email them
The website pops up with a target logo and their logo and upon further searching i found that the phone number attached is not real. At this point i had not recieved a reply and emailed again then continued looking for their reviews.
After finally finding them, they had 13 revies 10 of which are still hidden and all reported this site and company being a scam. Along with comments that had been hidden. The description of their company in the more information tab on facebook does not match what their ad says they were selling.
I emailed in total 3 times and the final email i did let them know i would be reporting them as i had not gotten a response over the course from my first email and second email.
