I was solicited by a company called Volition. They hacked my friend's LinkedIn email, pretending to be her. Their proposal was to become a mystery shopper— buying products and services at various businesses and then reporting on my experience. Each assignment pays $400. The first assignment was to cash a $1,960.00 check from LCNB National Bank, keep $400.00 and send the rest to *** *** *** at 441 Carr. 831 Bayamon Puerto Rico 00956 via a Wal-Mart Money Gram outlet. Before completing the assignment, I learned that my friends email was hacked and the initial invite to become a mystery shopper was a fraud so I never completed the assignment. The Check Remitter is *** *** And I have been repeatedly texted by this company inquiring on the status of my assignment from the following numbers, 201-829-5862, 201-719-4215 as well as email from this address [email protected].
