Vosburg and Associates (previously went under the name Hartwood and Associates) called and said they were going to serve me papers to sue me for a student loan debt. They had done this before, about 6 months ago under another name - Hartwood and Associates. I spoke to someone in the "Litigation Department", sounded like a younger white male sort of a fratty/bro voice. When I asked reasonable questions about details of the case, like when the papers would be served, and who the representing attorneys are, he tole me to "Shut up and go brush your teeth," then hung up on me. I called back and he pretended to be someone else and said I sounded entitled, which made me laugh really hard, which clearly frustrated him, I would imagine he doesn't interact with intelligent women much, let alone make them laugh. He hung up on me.

I received a call from a local number that I let go to voicemail. They said I was trying to be located to serve papers to and to call an 888 number. I did, a very nasty unprofessional man told me I owe a bank $ and I'm being served- I quickly told him I'm on top of my credit, I never heard if the bank, and told him he was a class act jerk. He fought back as if I tried killing his 1st born. He then refused to provide any information about a supposed bank loan I'm defaulted on. No amount- nothing. I fought back again - he became even nastier. I told him he was breaking several laws and I could sue for his behavior. He just got worse and worse. I filed a complaint with the PA attorney generals office.

Called asking for my mother (also the number on my caller ID, might have been trying to target me) saying that she's being served a summons to appear in court. They claimed the company--vossburg and professionals. They gave a case number and said to call back to schedule a time to appear in court. Refused to give other info due to "confidentiality laws". When I call back, somebody asks for the case number but refuses to give any information about the attorney's BAR number, or any information to prove the're a legitimate business. I suspect they're a scam to try to get personal information from people who are afraid of getting sued
