I got an email on 12/15/2020 regarding my job application which I have posted on Indeed.com. She mentioned in the email that there is a position for a Payment manager offering $38.40 / hour for Full time job and $34.40/ hour for Part time job. The email listed all the detailed responsibilities required for the job plus all the benefits too. I agreed to take the offer. She mentioned that there was a 14 day trial period after which they would hire me. The next day she sent me the contract and asked me to sign and send a picture of myself holding the signed contract. I sent that too, never suspecting anything wrong with the offer. On 12/17/2020 she told me that her operator will call me to discuss further details about her company and other job details. When the interview on the phone was finished, that lady told me to inform Pamela that I had finished talking with her and then she will direct me with further details. Pamela then asked me to download Telegram Messenger on my cell phone, so she could contact me. Once I downloaded that, she told me that I had to start my trial period and assigned me my first task. She sent me the link to watch the video about Ethereum project and said that all their customers use this as a currency, similar to Bitcoin. Then she told me to send her my personal bank account number so that her customer could send me the money and I would have to go to an ETH ( Ethereum) ATM and deposit 95% of that deposit in that ATM and 5% would be my reward. After doing this transaction she was going to give me the details about the corporate account, I would be using in my job. Asking for my personal Bank account information was the warning sign. I told her that I cannot provide her with that and it seemed like a scam to me. She never got in touch with me after that. Please beware and be very very careful about all these scam artists on the internet luring you to give your personal information. The good thing about this whole ordeal is that she never asked for my social security number. She has my full name , address and birthdate. So I will have to keep a watch that she doesn't do any further harm.
