The company will reach out to these individuals and ask if they want to be interviewed for a feature on their website in the individual's respective city. Once the individual agrees to an interview to promote their social media, business, etc. the "editorial staff" will send interview questions via a third party website. The individual will answer questions about their experience, journey, and business. In addition, the form also asks for personal information such as full name, address, social media handles, and multiple personal photos. Before you are able to submit the information for the supposed "interview", you must provide 5 other names of "influential" people in your circle, city.
Once submitted, the interview questions are then copied and pasted and uploaded to the website - where there are THOUSANDS of other articles from other people where there is no proofreading and plenty of typos. Once the article is published, the "editorial staff" offers a print of your art at a price. The company will send an invoice, collect payment, but does not send the print of the article. After many attempts, the company does not respond.
There are many reports online of the company getting people's data through these hundreds of interviews and using the traffic on the website and driving up ad revenue. Also, it's concerning that the company is also requesting personal information of the interviewee such as social media links, personal address, etc. This is concerning and seems like a fraudulent company that is a cover for something more sinister.
The issues here are the information they are collecting from thousands of people and posing as an online publication with no editorial integrity, the lack of transparency as to where your personal information and pictures are going, and the products they are promoting (and collecting payment on) that are not being sent to the paying individual.
