VTron IP Security Reports & Reviews (14)

This company is a predatory scam directed at old people. VTRON IP security hard-sold my 88 year-old father a 5-year policy for $2736 even though he only used his computer minimally and did not do any online shopping, etc. When my father passed away ~1 year into the contract, VTRON IP refused to discuss the possibility of refunding the unused 4 years remaining of the contract. To be clear, the financial administrator simply refused to take my call.

The lessons and warnings from our experience are clear:

(1) Warn your parents not to avoid VTRON IP security. They are predatory and hard sell by grossly exaggerating the vulnerability of your computer and internet accounts. You are much better off with an inexpensive Norton subscription.
(2) No one should purchase a long-term contract from this company. If anything happens to you or your computer, you will not receive a refund. They won't even take your call.

This website is fake and do not deposit any money. They allow you to withdraw money 1-2 times. then when they get trust they charge 25% tax on your wallet balance money. You will be forced to transfer more amounts in order to save your money. Then you go bankrupt.  report them to skyline-rec very com   and get all your funds back .

Exact same thing that happened with PINKY 2 (see Feb 2, 2022 comments) happened with me. I won't be redundant by repeating my experience with V-TRON IP SECURITY but want to warn others about responding to pop ups.

They are scammerz!

Company is a scam. They sent a virus forcing us to call them to " help us" when they are actually the culprits. Charged an insane amount then insist on us calling them monthly. We didn't pick up so they call nonstop demanding access which we deny.

This company is a scam. They sent a message with someone talking loudly through the computer forcing up to call them to "help us" then charge an outrageous fee only to call us monthly for computer help and call non stop to gain access to our computer.

I received t a pop-up message that froze my computers. It gave me a number to call saying that I had a trojan virus on my computer. The message also said it was from micro soft and that I needed to call the number listed. I was told me that I had no firewall and that fourteen people were already watching my activities on my Ip address. The individual I was connecting with was named Claire. She then told me she was connecting me with someone who would correct my problem. I went along with this as I truly thought I was working with a representative from Microsoft who was indeed connecting me to a third party. In short, I sent them an image of a check made out to them as they suggested using my mastercard was not as safe. They then gave me the option to pay them $350 for services rendered plus and an additional $700 which would protect my computer for three years with them making a monthly checks. At the time this all seemed fair.
I was told the check would be submitted in 7 to 10 days. This was also not true as they attempted to submit the check within two days. Fortunately my wife pointed out that this was a scam and what was I thinking? She was right! I immediately had the check stopped, closed the account and reported it as fraud.
Several days later my computer froze again. This time, I had Microsoft repair the problem and was basically told that neither Microsoft nor Apple would ever use a third party to work on their software.
Since this occurrence (Jan 2022) I have been harassed with threatening phone calls telling me my credit score would be affected. The phone calls came from numbers that were listed as be made from Cambodia, India, and Fair Oaks California . (650)--832-2745, (916)-860-3778
I hope my erroneous action will help someone not to fall for their scam. I consider myself fortunate although somewhat embarrassed that I walked into this with my eyes open.

I have had the same experience. It’s terrible! I wish there was a way to stop them! I closed my account as well.

Got a pop-up message on my computer saying that I had a trojan virus on my computer. The message said it was from micro soft and that I needed to call to protect my computer. They told me that I had no firewall and that six people was already watching on my Ip address and would be able to get any of my info including passwords and bank account info. They charged me $350 to supposedly fix my computer and said that they need to make a monthly check on my computer to make sure it was working properly. I am afraid that if I let them in my computer again, they will find another reason to charge me money.

Got message on my computer supposedly from Microsoft saying there was a virus Trojan Spyware and I needed to call the 800 number before I could use my computer. They did scan for hours and then said I needed firewall which I purchased at $720 for 5 year subscription. Paid with check which my computer took picture of. Should I stop payment?

My computer had a loud noise with a warning on the computer screen saying that my computer had been hacked and gave the 855 number to call. They wanted to charge $249 for a "one-time fixation charge"

They will lock down your browser and tell you that you have been infected and that you don't have a firewall. First off, anything that pops up and tells you that your computer is infected is a scam. Second, anything you're worried about, shut down your computer however you have to and get it to an IT professional to be cleaned. It will be far cheaper than what the scammers charge and they will actually clean your computer, not add more malware to it. Don't trust this business, I've seen them take lots of money from several people

Clicked on a Google search link and a WINDOWS warning came up that my laptop was disabled due to a threat and needed to call the 800 number. I did so believing it was from Microsoft. I gave access for remote control of my laptop at the end he said I did not have a firewall. (And it would cost money) his answer as to why I am getting this after owning my laptop for 6 months and was told I automatically get 6 months free when purchasing the laptop. Had no answer for me as to why I never got this information in writing. I disconnected all the windows that were open, which he asked if I was doing something to it, and I told him he was trying to scam me and I was reporting him and his ID # (Sam Wilson 1067) everywhere and anywhere I could. Tried to turn off my laptop but it said don't turn off while windows is working.. hard booted laptop off and disconnected every wire there was going to the modem
