Filled out several forms for free vacations in our recent trip to Branson, Mo. I remember reading one, the last one I completed, that was through VW Production that advertised for a free vacation, there were no strings attached. Received a call on August 4th, with a message to call back, that we had one a free vacation. When I talked with Kayleigh Eaton, she said I had won two free vacations, in fact, and that I would need to pay $99.00 to get the packet sent to me. I had to redeem it today, and she told me it included 3 days and two nights with 2 free tickets in Branson, a $30.00 dinner voucher and a Coupon booklet along with savings on gas. In addition, the second trip would be for anywhere else I wanted to go and we would be able to stay at the Sheraton, Radisson, Marriott or Hilton. There was not time limit on either of these two trips. When I questioned, she continued to ask if I didn't remember meeting her at the Coffelt Craft Mall at her booth. I told her no, and that I had to check with my husband before we paid the $99.00. She wanted me to put her on hold and call him at work. Told her that was not possible and I would have to talk with him at work. She asked when I would be able to talk with him, and I said within the next few hours, and she said she would only be there for the next few hours. I told her I would call her back. Talked with my husband and then called the Branson Chamber of Commerce, where I was told this company had not registered with. Was referred to the ScamPulse.com by the lady at the Chamber and called them. Kayleigh attempted to call me back about two hours later, whereupon I ended the call without picking up and the message left said she was calling me back as she had said she would. However, I had told her I would call her back. She said she would be happy to talk with my husband to explain it. I do not know for sure this is a scam, however, there were too many things that do not mesh and when I asked if I could have the info about what I had won sent to me via e-mail before making a decision, I was told I had to redeem it today and pay for it before they would mail me the packet.
