I was sent this email today and as always with these emails, you know it is to true to be true. I did some research and could not find this scam listed. I also researched the email address that was used, which happens to be a school. To think that Walmart would be looking for secret shoppers through a school organization. The last thing I did was copy the link I was directed to click. By coping the link and pasting it, you can see the true address from this scam. Anyway, I just wanted to report it, so people do not get sucked into this scheme. Below is the email that I received.

We are starting a very big research project in the USA and Canada. This project takes place every month. We are the leading agency specialized in (Global) Customer Service Research. We need to recruit Walmart Shoppers to join our project to work as surveyors on other branches. We get hired to go to other branches and act like customers in order to know how the staffs are handling their services relatively to their customers. Once we have a contract you would be directed to the branches in your area or outlet to secretly perform a survey on the services of their staffs after which you would give us a detailed record of your experience.

Assignment: A Check payment to complete the first assignment will be mailed out to you in the amount of $2,953.53. Which will be readily cashed at your Bank. You will take the cash and shop at any Rite Aid, CVS pharmacy, Walgreens, Kmart, 7/11 outlet closest to you and evaluate the outlet based on the pointers that will be provided to you. The funds have been calculated to cover both aspects of this survey. You will be allocated some of the money for the Wal-Mart shopping section. Remember that everything you buy is totally yours. 2nd aspect of the evaluation You are required to evaluate the service of any of the following stores closer to you. The stores are as follow Walmart, Rite Aid, CVS pharmacy, Walgreens, Kmart, 7/11

Minimum Criteria's are :

Must have reliable transportation

Must have good written communication skills

Must be able to focus on details

Must have full internet access (at home or at work)
