I was attempting to call WalmartMoneyCard.com (prepaid visa) to discuss a transaction that I needed to cancel. I misdialed the phone number, I meant to dial (877)937-4098 and by mistake I dialed (877)937-7098. The guy that answered the phone answered the phone as Walmart Money Card and asked what I needed help with. I stated that I needed to have a transaction cancelled and he said he would "gladly assist me with this." He then stated that today they were offering a special reward to the first one hundred people that called in and "lucky for me, I was called number 55." He then reported that as the special reward to being the 55th caller out of the first one hundred that I would receive a $100 Walmart gift card and a $25 gift card and that all I needed to do was pay $4.95 for the USPS handling charge. I repeated what my original intent was for calling in and he reminded me of the $100 and $25 gift card I would receive after paying the $4.95. I provided him with my credit card number, and he placed me on hold stating that he would transfer me to an agent that would assist me with this. Then the call was disconnected. I attempted to contact WalmartMoneyCard.com again after being disconnected and that is when I realized that I had dialed the wrong number. I then contacted the multiple phone numbers that were provided to me while he was explaining the gift cards and the phone numbers were invalid or for a different company.

I then logged into my account and noticed that I had been charged for ten transactions and I also received five emails from the companies that I was charged for. (I am uploading a copy of the emails I received and a picture of the statement showing what I was charged for.)
