Phone Call From Alisa Tatom 806-679-7341 identified them self from Walmart wanting to verify a $710 purchase online for IPhone 11. I said it was not me and they transferred me over to Walmart Security to process the false charge. James was the name used by the agent. James wanted to know what type phone I was using and wanted me to load ANYDESK software on my phone so he could clear the online Purchase made over the weekend. He said once i had the software loaded he could put me in contact with Walmart security and give me a verification code that the charge had been removed. I told him I would not load the software for him to just transfer me to Security! He said he could not it could only be done through the ANYDESK software! I insisted that I would not download the software and for him to give me a direct phone # to Walmart Security! He came back with the following # 206-596-8130, and i ask for information on what card the online charge was made and he told me he could not give me that info over the phone. So i ask how i was to identify myself or my case number when I called in. He told me to tell them James had told me to call that I could speak to any agent but I need to get it taken care of immediately or charges would go through and he could not stop them! I told him that is OK, i would contact my credit card company and protest the charge and put a hold on it . He said I could not do that and it would not do any good. the only way to stop it was contact the Walmart Security Number. I have done nothing further and do not see charges on my credit card. Must be a scam!!!!! I gave him no personnel information other than I had a IPHONE. I believe he was fishing for access to my phone or Laptop.
