I ordered an above ground pool product through artfire from a scammer. The scammer was unresponsive to emails. The scammer had then sent me tracking for an item. After following up with the post office they said the tracking number was real, but the delivery address was different and the item was 6 ounces. They do this so it appears the item was taken after delivery.

Artfire does nothing to support consumers and leaves you to take it up with the scammer they host. Here is their position and response:

Hello,

ArtFire provides a listing service similar to a classified ad. Anyone is welcome to list and sell on ArtFire as along as they comply with our Terms of Service. Those terms include a requirement to ship products in a timely fashion and communicate with buyers. If Sellers fail to comply with our TOS they are removed from the platform and their shops are closed. We do remove sellers on a regular basis who have not fully complied with our TOS. All purchases are made between buyer and seller. ArtFire does not process payment or have access to any funds. This means that a buyer can always dispute or initiate a chargeback directly with their payment provider.
