I posted an ad on craigslist for a Bedroom set. The scammer contacted me via email giving me his phone number asking for more pictures. When I sent more pictures via text, he was instantly interested and was supposed to come in person so I gave my address. Instead of coming the person offered to send a check to pay in advance and hold the bedroom. Of course the check was super fake. I did not deposit it, but I understood right away what he was trying to do! I still have the check and the usps priority mail envelope
