Received a message on Facebook from a friend that I recently added. Asked about what was going on and mention my disabled grandchild. The friend on Facebook told me about the Lions Club Foundation Grant and then gave me a phone number to an agent that could help. The agent asked for my name, address, age, and income - said I was approved for $100000 but only after I paid $5000. Gave many different numbers for reference. Did not give any money and hung up on the agent. Went back on Facebook and asked the friend to identify family members and ask how we met. She answered the family questions correctly but failed to answer how we met correctly. In an early conversation, they asked for a picture of me from my wedding day. I have alerted my friends and family who have been getting friend requests with that picture. I have also changed my passwords just in case.
