I received a call from a gentleman stating that I am being charged with fraud out of the state of Texas. He proceeded to give me a case number and a warrant number and ask me to verify my Social Security number. When I refused, he said after this call, he was going to send the case information to the local sheriffs department to come hunt me down and arrest me. I promptly hung up the phone and called San Antonio Texas sheriffs department to have them verify the warrant number when I did this, they insured, I do not have a warrant out for my arrest, and to be aware of scams.
