Received a phone call claiming a judgement against me, in the county I live in. Had my personal information, even called my work. Tried to call my works payroll department to get my information.

The call claimed I had a judgement against me and was going to put a lien on my property and home, and also wanted to discuss it with my wife. Tried to call her work and get her information also.

When we brought up to talk to our lawyer, the caller replied, "your lawyer cant help..." and hung up.

They even called my home and spoke with my mother in law who was there at the time. She also reiterated to me the same information.

They had my drivers license number, some of my social security number, and my wife's also.

Offer to lower motgage payments by 2/3. 30 day offer.All info about the current mortgage was erroneous, including the lender and the amount. Reached a "representative" by the number provided. After some haggling, he ended the call with, "Have a nice day" when he figured out that I was on to him.
