Ordered ge water filters they did not work even the package looked like original ge 65$ for 3 filters they copied original instructions fraud

CG Water Filter sells counterfeit water filters. In this case, I ordered a GE water filter, XWFE. When received, they did not work. I learned that GE places a chip in their genuine filters to make them work. The filters purchased from CG Water Filters did not contain the chip. I protested, and was advised by CG Water Filters that I should attempt to remove the chip from the original GE filter and attempt to attach it to the counterfeit ones. I had not been previously advised that the filters sold by CG Water Filters were not genuine, and would need some technical alteration by the purchaser to work. Additionally, the counterfeit filters did not fit properly in my refrigerator. The public needs to be warned about this deceptive business.
