I was under the impression I was buying a heater from Wayfair upon further inspection I found out that it is this company that took my money as I did not receive the heater or a refund I did not have a tracking number I cannot find the original post attached I put a picture of the heater that I was supposed to buy

I was on Facebook and in the heading it stated Wayfair. I ordered an item for $50 that was normally over $400. So I purchased it. Called Wayfair and they informed me I was scammed. They are aware of the issue. I called the number for the company and it says not accepting calls.

Impersonating Wayfair on Facebook Marketplace

I thought I was smart enough to know better but I fell for a closeout sale on Facebook Marketplace. It even has the Trusted Store Trademark! When I didn't get any delivery information, I almost immediately knew I was scammed. There were two email addresses involved. See screen shots attached. I disputed the charge with my small business bank FOUND and they didn't get back to me until on 6/30 my bank account was hit with a hundred charges all over the country and including countries such as Australia, Germany, and the The Netherlands. My account balance was drained in one day. Because I cannot be overdrawn with a debit card, the charges started to bounce when I had no more money left, which means a couple of thousands. My bank has still not been able to refund me all my money. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and I will file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Consumer Bureau when the 20 days have passed they told me I might have to wait. What really angers me is that Facebook is not doing anything to prevent these scammers to post ads. You get a notice for a naked breast in an art painting, but they cannot prevent people from being scammed, clearly by a sophisticated operation. It's outrageous.

Same as others have indicated. Legitimate looking ad on Facebook Thought I was purchasing a pair of swivel patio chairs, when I checked my credit card transaction discovered that payment went to Weijiang NT.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Shout it out loud, because I paid with my business debit card and my bank account was hit and drained in one day on June 30th with charges all over the country and several other countries. Be glad your bank caught it in time and it only is about the one charge because my bank let it slide for a whole 5 days even after I disputed the transaction showing up as WEIJIANG NT. They didn't flag my account for fraud until the charges started to hit my account on June 30th. I am still waiting on about $1,000 to be refunded.

Pop-up ad on Facebook. Appeared to be WAYFAIR having an "everything must go !"clearance sale up to $90 off, , so I bought two bookshelves (usually $300 each) for $78.I When I one to my cart and sent the Payment, the amount suddenly and arbitrarily changed to $47.00 exactly (no tax or shipping charges). I received a message 15 or soy minutes later by email confirming the order from [email protected], and this message also included an email address to sue for any questions about the order: [email protected]. It felt weird, so I pasted these addresses into a google search and saw the Scam reports, then immediately my bank sent me a fraud alert. as well.. so I cancelled the payment. My bank had the payment going to "WEIJIANG NT" before I cancelled it.

The email address, again, that the company liused: [email protected]. The email address from which then receipt was sent I: [email protected]

NOTE: It looks like they are using xcartapps now, as well as kcartapps.,

I was searching on the and theu pretended to be wayfair. I entered my email, address, phone number but couldn't enter payment to get the deal. I called Wayfair from Google number since theu didn't have a number on their website. When I spoke to the real Wayfair the item I was looking for was actually $500 and not $49.99.

These weights are usually around $400 and they were offering them for $99 (plus a bench and a rack).

Once you add the product to the cart, they add an additional $100,000 for shipping (see image attached).

Clicked on an ad from Facebook marketplace. I almost ordered, then realized the web address was different, plus there were only 5 categories. Should have known $79 for a large wardrobe armoire was too good to be true.

I placed an order September 9, 2021 for a mobility scooter. Received tracking # and invoice # along with a receipt for payment which stupidly I put on Visa. Obviously I did my homework before trying to purchase anything Here are some key signs that a website is a fake besides the price being too good to be true If they dont post contact info on the bottom of the page if the icons that show that its safe and credible dont actually lead to anything if you click on it just a photo and the actual h t t p link in it doesnt actually say like for instance Wayfair Good luck guys Please be smart with your online shopping and dont be a mindless consumer ask yourself before a purchase do I even need this item Will I actually use it Just saying impulse buying is no good ps this site wouldnt allow me to post this with any punctuation hence the mess of a post sorry
