This business represented itself as a marketing company, calling itself Wayne Marketing to me, and later referring to itself as VPG Marketing to a friend of mine who was also job searching. The position they claimed to have an opening for was an Entry Level Account Manager; the same position was offered to me , and my friend (almost six months apart, and representing the business as being at the same location, but with a different name. They then used the original name that they had used with me, but at a different location when contacting my friend, and told her that they were excited to meet her for an interview to discuss her resume in regards to the same position they had contacted her for before; she'd never submitted her resume to them even once.) They masqueraded themselves as a marketing company, when they were/are in actuality, and sales company. They never had any signage up on the building I went to for my interview, and everyone in senior positions were very young, which struck me as odd. Throughout the interviewing process I asked for more detail on the position I was interviewing for, and never received any actual answers. Having never really been asked any hard-hitting questions in the interview, as well as not previously

working in marketing before, I was extremely surprised at how fast i was pushed through the interviewing process and subsequently offered the position. I'm reporting this scam, because I'm worried that personal information I divulged on my application was used to steal my identity. Please be careful of marketing companies with those above names in locations in Ferndale, Troy, or anywhere in the Metro Detroit area.
