Forth with Amaya in Human Resources because when they reach out to you about applying for the job they tell you to email her and I. The subject out Next Steps Indeed. That’s when she sent me a questionnaire making sure I was a good fit for the job explaining the position and benefits and pay. She tells me to pick a time for 9/27/23 between 9-6p that I would be available for an interview. I chose 4p. And now that I’m thinking about it I don’t think she said phone I just assumed phone because most people, since Covid, do phone interviews or o er MS Teams. She confirmed and thanked me for confirming. The day of the interview nobody called. I sent an email telling them I was there and nobody showed up so they would know I showed up. Didn’t hear anything back emailed a couple more times that evening. The next day they reached out via text and said they had hired somebody but they were unhirable because of their background and they wanted to offer me the position. I was super excited because I really needed this new job!! So I emailed back accepting the position. But when they said that I had to pay that fee first I attempted to look them up in the ScamPulse.com and. I thing. I had previously googled the company name and nothing came up so I thought because they were on Indeed maybe they used that as a name of the business. I told the person via email that I had looked on the ScamPulse.com and they weren’t there so I needed to verify the company before I paid it. They got super offended and suggested I look elsewhere for employment. That’s when I knew it was a scam. A legitimate company would freely verify their legitimacy. I went back and looked for the. Emails and they had been deleted. They changed their name on indeed to we have lots of loads. It was we have loads. The website looked like somebody just threw it together in like 5 minutes. It wasn’t professional at all. Now they have all my personal stuff and I’m glad I’m poor because they can’t get any $$ or loans. That’s sad but true. Attached I will send you what screenshots I have.
