The scammer sent a text message from sender address +14244215544 with the following contents : Order Shipped:#421-8931 for ipad 9th gen, Amount $****** will be deducted from your card. Not you? Call us +18886081110 WeAmazon

I called the number from a landline just to verify who was on the other end. A gentleman picked up the call immediately--1/2 ring--and responded with a thickly accented South Asian accent: "Amazon, can I help you?" I immediately hung up. I then verified that no orders had been fraudulently placed in my Amazon account and that my credit card had not been compromised.

Received text message from (weamazon) from +1-323-452-7458 saying I have been charged $899.99 for a Samsung S21 Ultra. I have no idea of who made this charge and am doing my best to find out who this is?

So I just received this text and I Neverending ordered anything I never even heard of weamazon before I did not call the number just here to report it. I find disrespecting that these people do this and I will be blocked this number on my phone.

The order number and the telephone number are both links and appear as blue in the text message.
