I saw another post on here that's similar to this, but basically they reached out via text first. And I am in the job market but I didn't remember applying. I searched my emails and social media and they were nowhere to be found. They also sent me an email to quickly schedule and interview for the next day. Both the text and email are saying that they "tried to contact me yesterday" but I have no history of that.

The website is clearly an MLM. Talking about nothing of real substance just "marketing" tactics and promotion from within which is a classic MLM identifier. I think they targeted me because I'm looking for a job.

I was emailed about an open position as a "brand ambassador" with this marketing company. I realized later I had never actually applied for this position. There were multiple rounds of interviews over zoom and a 10-min in person orientation before starting the position. I was to believe I barely made the cut and only so many positions were available at the time. I came to realize this company is always hiring and the turnover rate of employees is very high. One of the roles you have an a higher member in the company is conducting interviews for new hires constantly, and I was told I could be promoted within a matter of weeks after starting since they are growing fast. The job was essentially standing outside of grocery stores asking people to donate for charity. Which was not so bad, but they would have had you believe you were doing something very different in the interviews. They also said they would pay based on commission. For every $25 donation you got, you would receive a $50 bonus. And so on. I never saw any of this commission bonus money reflected in my paycheck, along with other coworkers of mine not receiving proper pay. I also wouldn't be paid for every day I had worked, my boss citing improper attendance but there was no system of clocking in/clocking out. They also said they would reimburse me for gas for any distance I travelled while on the clock, which was a different location every day and a 40 min. drive to and from the office for me outside of the clock. They told me to keep my gas receipts, and then when I tried to give them to my boss, they said I was paid $5 for every day worked to make up for gas. Not only is this not full reimbursement for what I paid for gas, but they actually only paid me $2 in my paystubs. They chopped it up to taxes. Overall, the whole thing sounded like a full-blown pyramid scheme to me but they had multiple offices across the country and many people involved. Definitely taking advantage of low-income workers who are desperate and/or in need of a "get rich quick" job.

Received an email and text notifying me that my resume had been accepted and that I was invited for an interview, though I hadn't applied for a job for this company. I had applied for a job on Indeed but it was for a company with a different name. Not sure if they are connected. They gave me a specific time for the next day. When I failed to confirm for that day they texted me again with another interview the following day at the same time. The Zoom interview appeared to be a recording, not a live person that explained who the company was and what positions were open. They said they would be sending a survey that needed to be filled out in the next 30 minutes and they also said that would be a second interview the following day at 8 am specifically.
