An individual, who identified himself as Robert called our office asking to speak with the doctor to discuss a recent request for a change of information on WebMD. I asked what company he was calling from and he said he was, in fact, calling from WebMD. He refused to give me any information as to what change of information request he received. I asked for his phone number and he replied that he wouldn't mind holding for the doctor because the wait time for return calls was in excess of 90 minutes. I explained that he was calling us on a line reserved for our patient's only and asked for his return phone number again. After telling me that he would hold two more times, I asked if he was refusing to give us his phone number. I finally received a call back number of (929) 412-2988 (direct line) and told him not to call our office again as we had requested the previous three times Robert has called. The same person has called our office at least 3 other times in the last 90 days and each time, we have asked them to take our number off of his call list and to stop calling.
