I just noticed that $7.00 was taken from my bank account from webresour, CA. I don't know how these scammers keep getting my debit card number! I am on my third new debit card since December 2023! These scammers need to be put up against a wall and shot! I am elderly, disabled, and live off a SS check each month. Every. Dollar. Matters! I have no recurring subscriptions, so who the hell ARE these people?!?

A site called webresour tried to charge my bank debit card $14.95 but my bank blocked it

WOW! At least I know I'm not the only one. On 12-2 I was charged 4.95, on 12-9 I was charged 14.95, on 12-12 I was charged 7.00. During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, I did not keep up with every transaction. I knew how much I had in the bank and about how much I had spent.
I checked my balance periodically and it was about right, so I didn't notice these small charges. Then, on 1-3 I was charged 97.00. That got my attention. Of course I contacted my bank, disputed the charge, cancelled my card, ordered a new one and signed a document stating that I would press charges. Then, I called the number, spoke with a female who sounded Hispanic. She said I was charged for a monthly subscription for an online business course. I told her that made no sense. I have not subscribed to anything nor have I enrolled in any online business course. She gave me the email address and of course I got no reply.
I have not made any online purchases in over 6 months. I have not used my card online for any reason. I've only used my card at major retailers like Walmart, Kroger, etc. I do not use my card at the gas pump and I've only used an ATM once in November.
How did these people get my card number? All I want is an answer to that question! If they did it once they will do it again.
Can anyone tell me how they got my number?

Checked my account balance, and was charged 97.00 from Webresources. I have no idea who these people are. Now have to go through the process of re-doing everything.

Out of the blue a 14.95 was charged to my bank account. My bank contacted me. And being a holiday weekend I was forced to accept the charge. Otherwise I am dead in the water. I'm pissed you stole from me. I'm screen shooting this message to use in court.

The other experiences listed here are similar to mine, which helps me confirm this entity is a scam. In the wee hours on Dec 26th, a $14.95 charge was attempted on my account. Fortunately, my bank flagged it and contacted me to confirm whether this was authorized. Needless to say, I had no idea what webservices.pro is and how I would have anything to do with them. Speaking with my bank later, I was told it appears to be a charge for a subscription service. With no history whatsoever of this charge or company on my account, I asked for any phone number associated with it. The record showed 855-461-8186. I called and spoke to "Jerome" who sounded not at all American -- more like Middle Eastern. He recommended I email their billing department at [email protected] and said I should hear back within 3-5 business days. I was highly suspicious of this whole exchange, as "Jerome" asked for information in an odd order, and he never actually confirmed that I have an account with them. I don't intend to have any further contact with them, and unfortunately they now have my phone number, email address and name. And, evidently, my bank card number. This is so frustrating as I must now change my bank card information with numerous other legit entities. I'm not out the money, thanks to quick action by my bank, but the aggravation is a ROYAL PAIN!

Here, here exact same. It's happened before. Yes,what a pain in the [censored]. We all
H ave accounts with that card. I was scammed on Thursday before new years break. What could I do when my bank sent fraud alert? I had to accept the charge([censored])or,I'm dead in the water. On Tuesday I will go to my bank. Wait 90 minutes and the whole thing starts over. SOB!

I noticed a debit on my checking account for this company.. NEVER heard of them and I definitely do not need their services! Now have to go through the pain of cancelling my card, getting a new one and changing the card on EVERYTHING I have automatic payments on! It was only $7.00 but who knows how much they'll STEAL from me next time if I just ignore it?! How aggravating!
The only thing I did online was get a new credit card through Credit Karma, now wondering if that had anything to do with it?

I noticed a transaction on my bank account , naming this company. Their website says they build website for people,
Never order it, Tried calling no answer.
They are now using the name Online Helper and hit my account again today.
I called my bank and had to get a new card.
Dont know how they would of gotten my husbands card number, he doesn't do online shopping aside from paying for his meds.
How can we get my money back?

+13

Your bank should have given you back the money when they issued you the new card!

I ordered a product with my Mastercard. Next thing I know they charged my Discover card with some educational crap. I called and they gave me credit. One month to the day they charged my Discover card again, same amount, under a different yet similar name and different number.

A debit appeared on my checking account on about Aug. 28th that I did not make. I did not do business with this alleged company in any way or form whatsoever. When I got the information about the business from my account charge description so I called and after a very long ringing and hold process did talk to a woman that I talked to about the charge and their business. I registered a complaint about the charge and requested the monthly charges to stop and a refund for the original fee. I was told that it wound be processed within a week or so, which did not happen. I also found the website and an email address to contact them which was rejected initially and went through upon a later try, also with no response. Then on Friday Sept. 29th an additional charge for the $14.95 was attempted again on my account which I caught and had it stopped which required me to cancel my debit card and get a new one. I will need to re-coordinate other automatic debits as a result. Upon looking into their address it seems to be some apartment complex offering single room apartments at over $1200 per month. As I said I did not solicit their services nor was I solicited for their monthly services. I'm not sure all what information they have from me initially however after contacting them they now have my email and cell phone info. Their website shows several levels of services of which I doubt exist. I am only out $14.95 plus a lot of aggravation but these people seem to be a very, very poorly run or a scam business.

Noticed this charge on my credit card WEBSOUR 855-4618186 CA with a $14.95 charge. I did not make this purchase nor look at their website prior to today. Filed a fraud alert with my credit card company.

I noticed a transaction on my bank account , naming this company. Their website says they build website for people, I never needed any web site help. No one oked them to take money from our account. I have spent time on hold waiting for some one to answer and they never pick up. I have emailed them and no reply. I have no idea if they will keep taking money out. I dont know how they got our card info. I do know we have no beed for any web site building or help. Based on their price list, the 14.95 is for MODERN WEBSITE DESIGN TRAINING. At our age we have no interest in that what so ever.
