I was looking at water filters online and found came across what I thought was a good deal. I should have looked into it more, but didn't have any reason to expect foul play. Product shipped from China, and my fridge does not recognize the filters as legit. Company appears to be stolen from some local girl's personal boutique (everly's boutique), and site has tons of odd wordings (such as the contact name for customer service being "Mr. William"). This site shows up on Google before GE's official site when looking up GE water filters.

Same thing happened to me, should’ve know it was too good to be true. I thought it was odd that after I placed my order, I got emails from different company names (as you mentioned). Currently disputing the charge with PayPal.
