I looked online for the number of Norton Antivirus Customer Service because I was having trouble with my computer. I called the number that was listed as "Norton Customer - 24/7 Customer Support. I described the problem to a man named "Jason." He had a very thick accent. He told me that my computer was flagged by Norton because there was some suspicious activity - someone was making large purchases using my name and credit card. He then verified some information with me which made me believe he had access to my account. Jason told me that I needed to go immediately to a Norton Store and get a "Cancellation Card." I told him I had never heard of such a store, so he checked and said there was not one near me and we would have to use a 3rd party store like "Ralphs." He told me that I would have to stay on the phone with him and drive to Ralphs, then he would tell me what to do, step by step. He asked me the name of my bank and how much money I had in my checking account the last time I had looked. Stupidly, I was going along with this until he transferred me to supervisor who told me to go into Ralphs, with my bank debit card, and they would tell me how to get "money from Norton put into my account so I could pay for the cancellation card." That's when I terminated the call. I will upload a screenshot of the number I called.
