I received the order in the middle of October 2023.
In November, I was reviewing my credit card charges and saw a charge made by Brainxcel OU15 on 11/16/23 in the amount of $198.78. I then found this same charge had been made 10/16/23 also. I did not recognize the name or charge amount, so I called NFCU and began a fraud claim. I cancelled the credit card that I had used (xxxx xxxx xxxx 6216) and NFCU sent me a new card.
After filing the claim, I was still trying to figure it out on my own, and noticed that there was another charge made by Brainxcel OU15 on 10/16/23 in the amount of $59.99. It was at that point that I connected the charge to my order with Wellness Peak CBD. I looked for any emails from Wellness Peak or Brainxcel, but only found 1 email that confirmed my original order. There was no mention of a subscription. I looked at the packing list, again, no mention of a subscription. I do not recall ever receiving information about a subscription. Additionally, their website lists pricing but does not mention that customers will be signing up for a subscription. https://wellnesspeakcbdgummies.com/
I called Wellness Peak at that time and told them the issue. The Representative said I had been sent an email. I don’t delete emails from my trash and there were no emails other that the confirmation of the original order. The confirmation email didn’t include pricing or subscription info). The representative said she would issue a credit.
A few days later, Wellness Peak/Braincell had reversed the November charge of $198.78, however they did not credit me for the October charge of $198.78. The $59.99 charge was valid since I received the produc. The invalid Oct. 2023 charge of $198.78 was never credited $198.78.
Apparently this company is charges a monthly subscription charge of $198.78 to every customer who orders products, however this is not stated on their website. Since November, I have been pursuing reimbursement through the credit union that holds my credit card, but they state that I don't have proof that I wasn't told about the subscription?? I'm not sure how to prove something that didn't happen.
