2 men with a trailer of pine straw saw me on horse back and asked if I'd like some pine straw that they had left over from a job they just finished. I said I could use 10 bales so $60 worth. They came to my house and laid the straw and then said I owed them $1520. I told them I could not pay and would rebundle what they put down. They refused the rebundling. (Half the pine straw was not baled.) They threatened to shoot my dog. They said their boss would fire them. I asked to call their boss but they said he couldn't be reached. I gave them $120 in cash, a $275 check from my husband and a $500 check written to Wells Pine Straw which I later cancelled. The $275 check was also written to Wells Pine Straw but not cancelled.
