Type of a scam Bank/Credit Card Company Imposter
A man on the phone said someone was trying to send $3k from an IP address in Georgia, verifying if I had been traveling.
"They told me to go on Zelle and transfer money to myself," The man told me to change the phone number on the Zelle account and instead put in my own name.
It seemed legitimate. The message said I was now a Zelle recipient and seemed to show I sent myself $1,500. At this point the man tried to give a new number to Zelle money to, and I realized I had been scammed.
