Put down a deposit for a corgi puppy, having scheduled a meet-up. Scammer gave an ALMOST correct address (the last digit made the address invalid) and agreed that the deposit was refundable/transferrable to another puppy since we live close to the given address. After the payment went through Zelle, there was no further contact. The website looks legit and they're very thorough in their vetting process, just like a real breeder would be. Terribly disappointing.

More research showed that the phone number pings in Aberdeen, Maryland. The names on the Zelle account and the phone number are fake, and there's no way to track them down that way.

I contacted this page about a puppy for sale. The bio says they're from Iowa, but in the email they said they ship from Anaheim, CA. The email was full of grammatical errors, like the person was not from/in the United States. If you cut and paste parts of their website into google, you can find where they stole wording from other websites. The puppy prices were much lower than typical for this particular breed and AKC registration. They were asking for payment via Zelle. Once I requested to video chat, I never heard from them again - so fortunately I did not lose any money.

I was looking for a pupoy for my wife and looked for a corgi website and found this website thinking if was legit but one i sent the money ok heard nothing and received nothing.
