West Tech Dist,INC [the way their invoice reads] sent an invoice to our Troy, Michigan office allegedly for toners for one of the copiers in our office. This company never supplied product by the way and, in fact, when our accounting department called them yesterday 3.15.21 the person from "West Tech" asked for the invoice number, claimed to verify it and indicated he would send the W9 right over. 3.16.21 I called "West Tech", and the man who answered the phone indicated to me they have cancelled the invoice. I told him that is irrelevant, they are committing fraud and we are a national law firm with 30 offices, so not a good idea. Despicable.
