hi I called to replace my card I paid 25 bucks for a new card only for it not to be able to be turned on and my account locked then I called many times for help they refused to open my account they refused me a supervisor I've been a loyal customer for 5 years never a problem then they want me to i.d. varafi so I did I send my ssn card my driver's license I sent my birth record my 2 form of Bill's my insurance card and my marriage certificate to prove who I am and they rejected it all I dont know why. I'm about to call Congress and all the news stations around the globe if this matter is not handled correctly my name is Michelle cronen you can reach me by email at [email protected]

I received a postal mail solicitation from Western Union regarding a prequalification for a NetSpend Pre-paid MasterCard along with a direct deposit form. On WU NetSpend's website, it states, "in order to receive the card you must fill out an application." I never completed an application nor did I indicate an interest in their services. The first card I received displayed my name & included a letter with more details about the card. The second card I received displayed my daughter's name (who happens to be a minor). Both cards had a MasterCard logo & resemble an actual credit card. I called 1-800-214-5483 which is the customer service number to activate the card. I was informed that in order to remove our names & mailing address from their system, I would have to give them the name on the card & card number. I refused since I wasn't sure if they would activate the cards without my permission. I think it's a scam.
