We requested to purchase a puppy. The website was legitimate, and all email communication regarding puppy vaccines, and credentials seemed legitimate. Scammer communicated via text and said the fee was $560 plus shipping out of state.We were asked to send a Western Union. Once we sent western union scammer kept saying “ I will get paperwork done” but never did or “ I will get shipping on Monday”. We realized this was a scam once we found a website that looked exactly alike but with a different domain name on a puppy scam website- stories were similar.Sad that the authorities have done nothing to stop this fraud from continuing.
