I recieved a phone call from (512) 539-6261 claiming that I (he provided my mother's name) had filled out a travel form which I did not. They gave me a list of travel destinations and informed me the trip would be free but I would have to pay for taxes and "other local fees," should I wish to travel. The person had a think accent but I was unsure where from. I asked what the company name was and he said Western Travels. I then asked where the HQ was and he said Austin, Texas. I informed him I tried to google that information and I was not able to find anything on a company with that name in Austin. I then asked him what the website was and he said www.westerntravels.com . I then informed him that, that domain name was not taken by any company at this time and asked for the main phone number for the company. He then disconnected the phone call. I know for a fact this is a scam because anyone calling to ask for my mother did not have prior contact with her because we switched phones when I was 16. Our phone company has my number under her name and vise versa because we never updated that with our phone company. It's been like that for almost 20 years.
