I looked up a particular whiskey on line; made the purchase via Whiskey Flavors. In the ordering process, paying with credit card was not an option, they requested PayPal (friends and family). The company rep (Carl Justin) informed me the order had shipped. I then received an email from Rapid Freighters with a tracking number; the order was to be delivered by 3:00 PM on 1/25/2025. At 2:59 and 3:01, I received two emails respectively. The first, from Rapid Freighters, informed me the shipment was on hold; the second email from Rapid Freighters, informed me I needed to purchase $100 worth of insurance (via "Allstate Insurance, Insurance Company"), a step they claim was overlooked in the ordering process (note: there was no insurance step).

I should have went with my inner instinct when I was a bit suspicious about the use of PayPal "friends and family".
