Call me ignorant or to trusting but I got a text from white constructions from a Teri and she wants my phone provider information which includes my username password and everything to login saying she needs it for the ability to ship materials go me through my provider it being 2 phones for work and I told her I didn't have the information she said I can just buy the items I need on hand for work and would be reimbursed later is this real or a scam please help

I called white construction and they said that they don’t have any remote or data entry or payroll accounting positions from home this is a fraud! They will send you money and you have to put it in bitcoin and ask you to send it through multipurpose accounts like Venmo and cash app you bank account and ask you for your w2 information it’s a scam and then report you after they send the money so they get your money and well as what they sent you to transfer for them. You get caught in a web and they get all your information. Please trust your gut because they will try to fraud you. This is what they are sending it as

You could almost copy J. Kesslers' statement word for word. I also did not apply for a job at White Construction. After the initial interview, this Teri Waganer sent a check for $3900.33 for office equipment, and "make sure to take out $100 for a hiring bonus". The bank researched and found there no funds in the account to cover the check, so it was not deposited. Thank you bank for being diligent. This morning, 12-8-2023 on Microsoft Teams, she wanted to send another check for a lesser amount. This (insert your own word - mine starts with FU) has been reported to the IRS, 3 Credit Bureau and the state attorney. Am sure this person will change their name and company, So be careful and listen to your gut feeling. If it's too good to be true, then it is probably a scam.

A person going by the name, Teri Waganer, for White Construction Inc., reached out to me by text about a job i applied for, on Indeed. I cannot find the application. She moved me from text to Microsoft Teams, and insisted I make a IRS account. Asked for email/password. When I made the account, it sent a code. She wanted the code. I let her know I am not comfortable giving her the code. She said Its for employment verification, after ive filled out a w4 and w9 form. I changed my password for ITS account, and are about to block them. I am also reporting them to IRS.
