I ALSO SUBMITTED A REPORT TO THE FTC...

I thought this was a customer service job but your first day they send you a check to cash then they promise you some outlandish merchandise such as a car what they do not tell you is that you have to put up the money to get this vehicle delivered to you, so first its just 300 then an hour later you get a call saying the transporters ran out of gas and its gonna be another 300 then the truck broke down so the delivery is gonna be late but they entice you by sending pics of the car so you start to feel hopeful that its coming, then you get another call the next day saying another 300 for the transporters, I was naive and vulnerable and desperate, so I did what i could to come up with the money and I did...5 days go by 600 dollars in. I get another call asking for more money because they said they're down the street. then 30 min later another call received asking for more money another 300 i was able to produce the money as I went thru hell and back to get an eBay Gift Card because apparently that what they only accepted as, risked my life was almost a victim of a hate crime to obtain the payment. 900 dollars in 12 days later still no car! unless I make the last payment of 300, all the risk and effort I did meant nothing, oh and apparently I was going to get reimbursed, I guess that was why I kept producing the funds, but what they do not tell you is unless you put up all the money that you do not get the car and the reimbursement for all the money I put up, it was a constant back and forth messaging with my supervisor his name is Bryan Wenzel, he then will ask for another final payment of another 300 and that I was going to get it all back at my first check, I started questioning how come it became the receiving customers responsibility to pay for the expenses of the transport, he's very good at making you feel bad about the reason the car is not delivered yet is the delay of another payment of 300 after 1,200 in I was finally fed up of promises without delivery, oh and his favorite thing to say was "I assure you that this is the last payment and your getting your check the upcoming Monday, so after being disappointed with broken promises all week I asked for the CEO number to ask if this is normal transaction for the company, i was finally given his number for telegram and he also agreed to what Bryan Wenzel was asking, I tried to obtain some sympathy even explained to him my situation and the risks took to obtain the previous payments, and after pleading and pleading for some leniency the CEO of this company suggested I prostitute myself for money, I felt very offended by the comment so after a few minutes of trying to calm down I remessaged the CEO his name is white living stone by the way, I expressed to him how offended I felt on his comment and tried to use what he said as a bargain to possibly release the vehicle to me and I will not repeat anything in our conversation. he then responded with IDGAF he said tell anyone that he didn't care I did everything I could to not explode with anger, so I made screenshot copies of the whole conversation and also sent the media conversation to my email because you can do that on telegram, I then went online to see if there were resources for help with cases like these which led me to this website, and yes I still have proofs of qll the conversation that took place between my self, Bryan Wenzel and white living stone. I also called the police to file a police report and I will be talking to a detective on my options on how to prosecute these people, please be aware! these people are not who they say they are, Bryan Welnzel also called me to I don't know why he called but was glad he did because it just reassured me that he was fake because his pic on the company website and his profiles is a middle aged white male but his voice sounded like a person from Africa or Jamaican, it was definitely a strong accent not an Italian accent which he claimed to be. I'm not done with this company they took advantage of my kindness and willingness to work and in the end I end up with NO car and NO check! I AM GOING ALL IN I WANT JUSTICE THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED GET AWAY WITH THIS, ESPECIALLY IN THESE TRYING TIMES

Also received communication while looking for a job. It looked shady so I stopped and did some googling. Thank you all for your comments that I was able to confirm my suspicions. I so feel for the people who will fall for this...

Was targeted by this scam as well. Here is the initial text message I received:
“This is Mr. Wayne LaVelle from (White Tech Global.). Your résumé has been reviewed on (Career Builder) and you have been selected for an interview on a position ($55/hr).

The interview will be conducted electronically and during this interview, you will get to understand everything concerning the job and the company itself in full details. Do you have WhatsApp or Signal App. on your phone. ?”

Glad i decided to look into this “company” and I appreciate each of you for taking the time to post your individual experiences with them. Sure saved me from a painful bank fraud issue. Hope these people can be shut down before they can steal anyone’s hard earned savings.

I received a text message from 734 633 6270. I looked at the positions on the web site provided all had expired and they where offering an interview and salary prior to providing any position description or terms. This smelled of a scam so I looked them up and found this site. Thank you all for confirmation of my suspicions. Be wary before providing info. It just sucks because it’s hard enough these days without [censored] like this trying to scam already stressed people with more bs in there lives. Best of luck to who ever reads this and I hope the scammers get what karma they have coming.

I woke up to a text message saying they found my resume through Zip-Recruiter. Mind you I don't have the experience at all for the job that they "say" I'm apparently qualified for. I knew it was a a scam from the start because no job would text you like that. They would professionally email you with all the correct information that a job is suppose to do. They texted me again and I asked for a website and when U texted them back saying how come all of your job listing are all expired? They knew I probably figured out they are scammers because they never texted me back. Oh and one more thing before I forgot the person who apparently is the Human Resource Manager her name is "Mrs. Mary Johnson". What a joke!

I just received a text from white tech global. They wanted to do an interview through the whatsup app. I have been a supervisor for 12 years I know employers will not reach out this way. I asked to do zoom they couldn't. I then looked at the web site. The person they said was contacting me a Marry Tonheim of HR is actually in charge of marketing. So there for would not be doing the hiring. Everyone just be careful. And always do your research.

I received an email from a Michelle Brian from her gmail account offering me a job on 3/7/21. The email instructed me to interview with Bryan Wezler on an app called Telegram. He offered me a job but did not send an offer letter nor did I fill out any paperwork. Instead, the first thing he offers me is a check to go and deposit into my bank account and that he would give instruction on how to purchase materials for my office space. I don't know of any company that would simply give you a check on good faith, without seeing me in person or talking to me on the phone. We only messaged each other on the telegram app. Also, in addition to not filling out paperwork he told me I got the job but didn't tell me what job I got. He offered up several positions and never clarified what job I actually got. He told me that AFTER I deposited the check that he would send a representative out my way to meet up in person and fill out a w-4. HR paperwork is to be filled out prior to a company releasing funds to a employee. I am not yet an employee so why would you give money to a complete and total stranger. It is an absolute scam to get your direct deposit information. And yes he did ask what bank I use as the prior to offering me the job...the same job he never specified that I would be doing.

Checked out the website with a link that he provided. The website is strange. When you try to apply to a job it gives you an email address to reach out to instead. The website says they are headquartered in Honolulu, HI, however if you look the up on crunchbase it says their headquartered in Pakistan. Also, when I emailed that Michelle woman back she was very unprofessional in her emails. You could tell she wasn't very intelligent but was trying hard to pretend to be. Using inappropriate words that a true professional would not use. Sloppy formatting and grammar. Anyway, stay away from these people. Also, another hint is that they all use personalized gmail accounts. No company email accounts were ever used.

I was reached out to via text message with this bait: "I am Juan Berman from the company ( White Tech Global ), Your résumé has been reviewed on (INDEED) and you are among the 20 candidates that has been selected for an interview, we will fix you up for an online interview for the Customer Service, Call Center Rep, Data Entry, Administrative assistant position with one week adequate training provided and the pay is ($28/hr) . Reply back if interested..Thank you."

He later asked to chat via WhatsApp, where he asked some interview like questions. Strangely asked who I banked with then quickly offered me a the position the sent me an "offer letter". I told I need to research the company some more since I never heard of them and I didn't directly apply for the position....seems like he might pulled my resume' off indeed but there was no job postings on indeed. I did a google search and barely found anything but with the help of a friend we found a website that fits the description he gave whitechglobal.com that a first glance looked decent but dig a little a deeper you see there are no details that most companies would have on their site; simple things like POCs for the HR department or owner or CEO name or somethin, anything. Also I saw job opening on the site but you click on the titles their is nothing not even a job description.

So the next he reached out to me again which seem suspect because I already told him I would get back to him before the suspense time; not very professional behavior in my opinion (kind of impatient). I flat out told him at the point to not contact me again or i would report him. So far he hasn't but I decided to report him anyway so nobody else falls for this scam.

I believe if I had went along with this any longer it would resorted in the loss of money via bank fraud through direct deposit information. He seem too interested in that information for a simple interview. And the fact he offered me a job based an interview done through WhatsApp. Never did he ask to speak to me on the phone or Video Chat on any platform that is out there. Super Suspicious!!! If it is too good to be true; it because it is not true.
